Got call from Payton that appeared as 540-904-4838 but actually was from 540-751-3319 when I used info playback on my answering service. Not scammed as I did not respond but clearly a phishing type number. I had listed a vehicle on Kijiji (Canada Craigslist) which triggered the call. Beware.
Didn't recognize the number so let it ring through to voice mail. It basically said they would help sell my car for a small fee, Warning bells went off as I had read an article in my local paper 2 days prior to be wary of this same ruse. They called again today...they're persistent if nothing else.
This person needs to be thrown off a tall building. I had a car listed on craigslist that I sold weeks ago. He sometimes calls from a blocked ID and sometimes from 540-751-3319. I blocked the 540 number but continues to call on blocked ID. What a POS!
Got phone call from Pete/Peyton whatever. Blocked call on my phone. Now he calls and phone restricts his call. Phone rings again and he leaves a voice mail. How do you stop the voice mail. Wants to help me sell my car for a fee. He got my email from craigslist.
