Received a call today. The recording asks "Can you hear me?". According to an ABC News report, this is a scam. When you say yes, they use that as voice recognition to open credit accounts in your name. They used the name of a Medical Company that I had answered a survey on line, so I answered yes.
Not sure why anyone would answer a call like this when the CID says "Invalid Number" - in any event, I did not answer the call and although it did go to voicemail, no message was left.
