These calls that say "CAN YOU HEAR ME?" and they want you to say YES, so that they can record you saying YES and that they can order information and get information about you.. So please be careful..
Called me about 5 minutes ago, 12 o'clock Mountain Time. I didn't answer the call, I didn't recognize the number. Those who have posted before comma recalling the questions regarding a yes answer, would be correct in their assumption that it is a scam. Don't answer the questions, reply with a question. Regardless of whether you answer their questions with a yes or no, they can use it as a positive reply to any question
(i.e. Scammer: Do you have any reason not to allow us stewardship access to or power of attorney over your financial accounts, in the event of your death or mental incapacitation?

Well... so far they've identified themselves as "California," "Medical Brace," "Invalid Number..." The number itself is spoofed, you will get an intercept staring cannot be reached as dialed, so best not to try, who knows where they really are. They are one of the more recent scams, pretending to sell mediocre braces if you will only give them all your personal credit information. Have called me since last year, despite always ignoring them. Only criminals would also disregard DNC, and "medical brace" is such a stooopid generic term, not a real company name! This scam started last year at the same time that they all started running irritating ads on free television. One of them even runs two versions: the same background piano tune, two different phone numbers for the two different ads, the same girl acting like the smiling phone operator in each ad but in one ad they shoot her from the left, the other ad shoots her from the right. And I noted they misspelled two diagnoses in that ad. I am beginning to be tempted to pick up the phone just to toy with them, but they would probably hang up on me once they caught on, because they have a lot of potential victims to try to scam, lots of ground to cover, quotas and so on. And it wouldn't be fair, toying with such a mismatched, less educated, inferior intelligence so, nah, I won't answer.
Perfect assessment Brolin1911a1. They called me today. The caller, "Jeremy", sounded quite realistic at first, but it quickly became obvious that "Jeremy" was just a list of prerecorded questions being selected by someone listening silently on the other end. He was asking yes or no questions only, and was confused when I posed my answers as questions back to him. He just kept going around in circles in hopes of getting a "yes" answer. I gave him a few explicit remarks, and the recording finally said "you don't qualify for this promotion", and hung up.
