Would suggest that you use a fake name online anyway... the one you used looks real, and criminals can always try to harm you even more than you already are. No matter how deep in debt you are, you still shouldn't dispense personal information online, as you just did. Who knows what they can do,with it? Am sorry you are in financial trouble, but don't borrow more trouble.
They can't do anything with a "yes". They can't set up a bank account, open credit cards, apply for a loan, or anything like that, because that all takes much more information than a "yes".
What ever you do - do not say
"YES" when they ask for you
by your first name ( Like they
know you ) numbers on caller ID
may come up as local towns near you
or on the other side of the country.
I heard that a caller will
record you saying "YES"
and will open up credit cards
over the phone and play back
"YOUR VOICE" saying " YES ".
It will be a real mess for you
to straighten this out later.
( After you get the bill from the
credit card company that you opened
up over the phone )
This may be organized crime IMO.
DON'T SAY YES TO ANYTHING !!!
They know who you are already and
Your address, Age, possibly your
SSI number too, ALL they need is
a recording of you saying "YES"
They called today and I got two calls last week from different numbers that also showed on the Caller ID as "Invalid Number." I wonder if these calls all came from the same source.
