They are calling me about an account that is pass statue of limitations. Its been almost 5 yrs, citibank account. The statue is 4 yrs in PA. Should I send them a cease and desist, tell them that it is past the statue or not. That would be admitting it is mine. NOt sure what to do here. I hear they will sue, but I guess they can't if the statute of limitations is up, right?
They keep calling me, thing is I just got this phone number a month ago. I know it's not for me but it's still annoying. I don't know who to get them to stop.
I have been receiving these calls as well. No messages and most recently a hang up on the line.
I just called (thanks for the info!) and found out they have the wrong number. The gentleman on the line was kind of rude when I asked if I would receive another call.
"I just notated in the file that this is the wrong number."
"So I won't get another call?"
"Maam, I told you I just notated that it was the wrong number in the file."
