Received multiple calls from this number. Decided to answer it today and it is a company called RPM Collections. The number shows up as a Virginia number but the lady says they are in Washington. Apparently I have/had a old Nextel account that is in collections from 2005 for $73. I told them I was on deployment at that time and swore I resolved it in Feb.2006 and to have Sprint/Nextel call me.
they call me every day, even on sundays about a debt i do not even owe. its about a old sprint phone bill. never had that co. claim its me,i used a cheap add minutes phone, tired of them harassing me. the internet full of this number harassing people.
I did research on (240) 210-7111 and (571) 261-0021, numbers that have started showing up on my caller ID that I have received several calls from but no voicemail messages. I learned that both of these numbers are associated with some entity called, “Receivables Performance Management” aka “RPM.” After receiving a call from (240) 210-7111 around 11:45 am on a Sunday 12 October 2014, (a Sunday morning…I could not believe it), I got fed up and decided to call the number on my caller ID. Upon my call being answered, I was immediately put on hold and transferred to someone else. I explained to this man that I was not the person who he was looking for—I have had this number for about a year—and that he needed to stop calling my home and remove my number, which prompted him to immediately hang up on me. So I called back. Again, I was immediately put on hold and transferred to someone else. I explained to this lady that I had just called and had been hung up on, that the person they were looking for no longer has this number as I have had it for about a year, and that they needed to stop calling my home/remove my number. She claims that this will be done and I will receive no more calls from them.
Here is information on RPM if you receive calls from them, especially if the calls are not for you:

I am so sick of these phone calls they call my new house phone and how they got that number I don't know I just wish they stop. They will say anything I just got a call a few minutes ago all I heard was WOW and then hang up. NOW that just made me very MAD.
Received call from collection agent looking for someone with my name. Previous address's did not match, Social Security no. did not match. He advised that they have contacted the wrong party, and would take my no. out of the system.
