caller from NY # 585-636-0010 TOTAL fishing attempt- upon answering the number it "rung back" to a guy that asked about an application to return to school and when i graduated high school- i said I'm not answering questions until I know who I'm talking... to which the guy just hung up
Received same type calls as above twice this morning 11-20-13 (11:20, 11:28 and 11:290 . Wanted to know if I ever had a student loan or applied for a student loan. One called identified himself as Sean. I'm Irish, that sure was no Irish accent. It was either India or Pakistan.Also had a missed call at 9:53 this morning, no number came up. Received a similar call from 494-382-7414 telling me my car loan was approved. I posted this info under the other site. I've checked my bank account, nothing as of this posting. Now I'm going to the bank to have them do a check of the three credit reporting sites. I went to my Verizon site and printed out all the calls from today, 3 of the 5 had no number. Write them down!! Be careful!!
Received a call from this number, no answer and someone hung up. Tried to call back, get a message the number has been disconnected, Then I get a call from 297-835-0447, with some Pakistan or Indian asking me about personal information my address and also my birthdate which of course I didn't give up. He says he is in Brooklyn, NY.
Caller with strong Indian or Pakistani accent called and asked if I was going to school. Replied no and he hung up. From the notes above, some kind of scam.
