Thank you for your postings. I have just had to cancel a VISA card and have it reissued because someone got hold of my # and used it. I just got a call from 601-501-4105. Because my mom is traveling out of state today, I answered the phone. No one answered back though. I know now to disregard calls from this number.
Got a phone call from the above #. When I answered the phone, no one spoke. I waited 3 seconds & hung-up. I'm on the NO Call List. How do these jerks get your number?????????
Same type of call received by others in this group. Caller said he was with a Contractor hired by Discover card to help reward their customers who had excellent payment records. My reward was to be a $200 gas card. I asked him to mail me the offer. These S.O.B.'s had my complete address and the last 4 digits on my credit card. When I asked the caller who had sold them my personal info., he hung up fast.
I used Google to look up their location. They are located in Vicksburg, MD. Then I called Discover Card to put in a possible fraud complaint. I'm thinking of also calling my State's Attorney General.
Had the same phonecall today from this number 601-501-4105. They knew our card number and addresse. Wanted to give us $ 200 gas card. My husband fell for it. We already notified our bank. The bank flaged our card and reported it as stolen. We will find out more tomorrow.
To everyone out there, dont answer those calls. They called us on our cell phone.
keeps calling my number, from Mississippi !! After reading the posts on this site, don't even want to answer it, they are not even leaving any messages. my cell is on the do not call list, how did they get my number?!!
