I had done some research at this website so I was ready when they called the third time. To my surprise they thanked me for being an American Express customer. He had the same offer of a $200 gas card. He also said that the call was being recorded so I said good because I had some information for him. Namely, I'm on the do-not call list. He said they are exempt from the do not call list. I did inform him he should check who he is working for since it sounds like a scam at best. He hung up after I said "don't call here again". I promptly called American Express to let them know. What next?
They called me this morning and tried calling again this evening. They said there were offering me great deals because I have kept my account in good standing and always pay the bill on time. First off the card they were refering too is my debit card so there is NO Monthly bill, and Secondly that card was cancelled and a new one issued five months ago. So if they were a legit and true company they would have known this information.
