I got 2 calls from this number today. I never answer calls where I don't recognize a number or no name is available. City and state only, constitutes a telemarketer in my book! They never leave a message, you'd think when one never answers their calls, they would stop pursuing you!
The real problem is that the Government is sell your personal information to commercial enterprise for their own gain. The focus should be that and not the company calling you.
Did you apply for any of the State assistance program or Federal. If you apply for food stamps, heath care plans/Kaiser Permanente plan, unemployment Compensation Benefit, disability benefits and etc... if you did, at some point you will get calls from those private commercial enterprises. All the time, every day and night...!
I first got calls from 410-721-0500 & 607-330-5304 just after I lost my job and I applied for food stamps... My personal information was sold first to WB&A Market Research, a private company and then WB&A sold it to other companies. They got the information from my state government agencies, which was the only place that had my new cell number. It didn't help me at the end of the month at all, having all those extra phone calls on time like this... Should the U.S. have stricter laws against this...
I doubt the Gov is selling people's contact info. Are you a shill for WB&A trying to put all the blame on the Gov? I blame big business for buying the political votes to exempt surveys from the DoNotCall Registry. Let's focus on stopping *ALL* unwanted telephone solicitations instead of simply misdirecting our anger at the Gov.
