Second time they called me on my work phone number, which I never give out either.
They also told me that if I didn't return the call, then the only thing he could do for me was to wish me good luck as the situation badly enforces me (?). Told me his name was Alan Marshall.
The first time someone similar called with a thick Indian accent, the name was Will Smith.
Also, the first time, I asked him to give me their address. He gave some bogus address in California and when I asked him the zip code. His reply was 717.....So I don't think these calls are coming from within the States, but from people that are outside the country or at least don't live here, as all zip codes should have 5 digits.
I already put an alert out on my social security number and notified my bank. I will now also
take it to police to file a claim against them.
They been callingbme forever. I called the police de partment to make a report and.they said ia not much that they can do because.this stupid people is in India and in someway they uae a system that they call from.Indian and changes their.phone number to an USA Number. They just want our money.
I received a call from an "attorney" at 713-370-7392 who called himself Julian Marshall. He said that I had received a check from Instacash.usa for $500 in the mail and that there were 3 counts against me for not paying it back. He said if I don't pay $949.29 within an hour, the fee would go up to $5400. He gave me the phone # of 607-795-7354 for instacash. I spoke with "Roger Fetch" who stated that I cashed the check at Walmart. They had all of my information, all of it.I was referred back to the "attorney".
I called the attorney back who advised that they are going to have a warrant issued for my arrest tomorrow if I don't pay. I have reported this to the sheriff and my attorney. These people are middle eastern and very hard to understand. I am also going to the state attorney's office.
got a call today from the same person asking me for the same information & telling me i was facing legal action.... I used to work in an attorneys office so I know to never verify anything over the phone & if I was facing legal charges they wouldn't notify me over the phone.....
I got a lot of calls from this number and at first they had a very bad mouth. I called the back after they called me today telling me that they was going to have me put in jail in the morning if I did not send them all my bank info. they also so told my that I only had 3 hours to do this and they did not care if the bank was not open. So I called my bank to see if I had any money put in my account by a payday loan place and they told me no and then we talked for some time and they told me this is a scam and that the calls come over the net by computer and they are coming from India or some place over there. But it is a scam and I will tell everyone that looks this number up don't do as they tell you please you will be out the money and never see it again.
