Just called again. Caller ID said PEOPLES ASSIST. I had blocked the number so it just rang once and then hung up. I will,file another complaint with the FTC.
Not sure if RICO laws apply there but ok. Especially because most of the time they aren't even in the US. And the fbi has better things to do than research you getting an occasional irritating call. Block the number, don't answer. Life moves on.
I have gotten at least 10 calls in two weeks from "people assist". They claim they can lower my interest rate. I have asked over a half of dozen times to be removed from their list and let them know I'm on the do not call list. They either just hang up on me or laugh and say "I can't do that" and proceed to hang up. I am tired of them calling and harassing me all hours of the day and night. What can I do to stop this?
