I'm convinced that these types of calls pertaining to credit cards and lower rates are the result of excessive spending on the aforementioned. My husband and I returned a couple weeks ago from a world tour for our honeymoon, and we certainly used our cards liberally. Ever since our return, we've been inundated with myriad telemarketing calls of this ilk. I'm sure the less reputable merchants sell customers' phone numbers to much less reputable telemarketers. That is, if you can use "reputable" in any way to describe a telemarketer.
I get calls from them but no more. Set your "Do Not Disturb" to only allow calls on your contact list. Then leave a message and say if you are hearing this call, you are not on my contact list, so please send me a email and I would love to speak to you. Then say your email in the recording. People get the idea, and no more junk calls.
This number has called my cell about 15-20 times.....I have no clue who they are but the number comes up from Virginia! Ugh!!! STOP....I called back to see who they are and their recording said they would remove my number....I never pushed a single button! What a bunch of crap!
I have received several calls from 609-270-0113 and they keep calling! I have ignored the calls, tried answering and pressing #3, as suggested, to get rid of the calls, but they still keep calling!! Last one was October 6, 2015 at 3:15 p.m. and call display just showed "UNKNOWN NAME". I am also on the national do-not-call list but it just isn't working. I think robo calls should be banned!!
