Same scenario as above. She asked for me by name .... said she was from the company that installed our home security system over 3 years ago and we should upgrade. I told her we're good.
I answered "Ohio caller". Said "hello" 4 times. Finally recorded voice said "goodbye" and disconnected. I'm on do not call list. I called number back from cell phone because I don't have long distance on landline that received call. I let it ring 6 or 7 times, no answer
Kept getting calls from this number as well as some other numbers about updating the home security systems. I told them to remove my number from calling list, but got the call in few hours from a different number. Called id shows GTE internet fooled me as it looked like valid Credit union call. It looks like they rotate different numbers used for the same purpose of scamming people.
