Who called from 6148901025

It is not Chase Bank -- according to Chase Bank. I callked them and reported BOTH numbers used by these scammers, and neither is in their directory. Further I reported it to [email protected]. Here is there reply and my original post.

Hello-

I am getting called repeatedly on my cell phone from a
number that identifies itself with Chase Bank. A voicemail
is left.

The initial number is 614 890 1025.

It then states to call this number: 866 351 0119.

I have not spoken to anyone from either number.

But online research indicates this is a phishing scam.

I also called your legitimate customer service number and
was informed that neither number is Chase.

I am not a Chase customer.

Hope you can do something to shut these guys down -- for
all of us, customer or not.

I called the number back and it is chase records they had my account information pulled up and just needed me to verify name and birthday for my chase account. The reason they called was because of an overdraft and they just wanted to make sure it was going to be paid before they would close it. Whoever told you it wasn't legit must have just been looking for chase numbers and not the debt collectors number. Mostly it was a reminder call to get it paid. Hope this helped.

Kept calling me today on cell.  I called them. They asked for last four of  ss# so they could check to see why calls we're coming.  I told them no, u want info u give me ss#.  They said, call # on back of card and hung up on me.  Have no Chase acct.

I didn't think even think about the post possibly being from one of the actual scammers themselves.  Good post, hopefully people read your post and think about what you said.  I'm sure glad I did.
