I have gotten several calls to my cell phone from this number, same scam $120 gas card from my "mastercard", but they can't tell me what bank my "mastercard" is associated with and they want me to pay for shipping for my reward package. I, however, have never purchased a Snuggie or anything else from that company.
I have been receiving a few calls from this number in the last week. I finally decided to find out why they have been calling me and answered the phone. They had my name right and said they are calling about my credit card ending in #### with the visa logo in the right corner. I was suspicious anyhow and said I do not have a credit card with that number. I said my credit card ends with 6667. (It really does not). I did a reverse phone number look up and it came back to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
They are calling from a city block located near Pearl St NW and Monroe Ave NW. The caller was young male with a accent
Lady with foreign accent wanted to send a 60 dollar gas card as a thank you for keeping my credit card in good standing. All she needed was one dollar from me. I asked if she worked for the credit card company or a third party, and she avoided answering the question. She tried to put me into a recorded line and I hung up. These people make no contribtuion to society and somehow survive by finding legal loopholes that allow them to continue to run their scams. How about some legislation?
