Great answer! Yep, its a very OLD tactic that scumbag collection companies use. the debt is NO longer valid. they buy them for pennies, use volume/auto dialers to reach as many people as possible. NEVER answer the phone, and if you do, hang up once they identify themselves. IF debt is old you owe nothing!
I got a call, no caller ID from 620-708-4671, no message. I don't answer calls with no caller i'd displayed. Anybody else had this # call you? Any information about it?
This is Portfolio Recovery, probably the lowest of the bottom feeding "collection agencies". Look them up - they've been fined and sued several times for unethical and illegal practices.
