The phone rang and the following number appeared along with V01051600290 which equates to January 5, 4:00 PM. Thankfully the call was dropped shortly after the first ring. I realize these people are desperate to make new friends, but I have plenty. So I guess they will have to find somebody else. I honestly have to have a sense of humor with these calls since getting worked resolved nothing.
Good luck to everyone dealing with these unwanted calls.
This call is from Consumer Svcs. They want to lower the interest rate on your credit card. They steal other caller ids (from personal phone numbers). They call from many other numbers (including cell phones). I have requested no more calls and they just hang up on you. I have reported several numbers to the do not call list complaint department. It does no good. I don't answer the phone anymore unless I know the person or phone number. It is horrible to be harassed like this! By the way, I called my credit card company to inquire if they were involved in these calls - they issued me a new credit card even though I gave this company no information.
When they called, I pressed 1 and was put on hold. Caller number 25. Gosh, I hope they are all doing what I am doing and that there aren't that many stupid people really waiting to talk to them! They want to lower my credit card rate. Joke is on them. I haven't had a credit card in YEARS. I'm tying up their line for as long as I can.
Got a call from this # at 9:47 a.m. They mentioned about it was nothing wrong with my credit card & something about lowering my rates and press 1, etc. This will be my last notice. They say this all the time & I wish they would keep their word about being the last time, but of course they don't because they call every day or every other day.
