I have gotten phone calls from this number for over a week. At first they asked to speak with someone who does not live here and now they called wanting me to hold for the next available person or to call them at an 800 number. I called the 800 number and they wanted the last four of my social security number as I was told I have an account there by my phone number. I have had this phone number for 10 years or more and I do not have an account at Citimorgage. I told business with a privately owned bank. When I finally got a live person I told that person I do not have an account and she hung up on me. I just received another call from this number and no answer when I picked up the phone. I am sick and tired of them calling, asking for a person who does not live here and possibly entered my phone number as their own. Our area has different prefixes for the phone numbers so they had better check their prefix again.
I'm sick of these scamers!!! Idiots are calling me every 30 min. And I called them back 10 times and asked them not to call me...but they still do!!!! They have called me 75 times in 10 days and every time they are asking for my social s#!!!!!Please help to stop these scamers. They say it's about your house payment!

CitiMortgage called to check to see if I would be making my payment this month. Note that I am never late on my mortgage. I spoke with somebody at CitiMortgage who said that they are now calling customers ahead of time just in case. In other words, just because they are calling does not mean that you are late paying your mortgage.
Iwait to hear voicemail messages from unknown numbers like this one. Unfortunately they didn't leave one. I have had this occur before from a different number and found they were calling others with the same citibank message. I'm afraid this is fraud and am going to call the actual cutibank tomorrow to report that their customer info has been compromised.
