I have gotten phone calls from this number for over a week. At first they asked to speak with someone who does not live here and now they called wanting me to hold for the next available person or to call them at an 800 number. I called the 800 number and they wanted the last four of my social security number as I was told I have an account there by my phone number. I have had this phone number for 10 years or more and I do not have an account at Citimorgage. I told business with a privately owned bank. When I finally got a live person I told that person I do not have an account and she hung up on me. I just received another call from this number and no answer when I picked up the phone. I am sick and tired of them calling, asking for a person who does not live here and possibly entered my phone number as their own. Our area has different prefixes for the phone numbers so they had better check their prefix again.
Yes - I actually am behind and have talked to them several times. I've filled out all of the paper work, submitted information on the website and faxed in everything they've asked for... But, guess what....? They still keep calling. Its been weeks and they still "can't see the updated information in the system." Everything has to be re-explained each time because they are so behind and its a new system....
I have applied to citi bank for mortgage Hardship assistance..some lady called me named Tina, with an African accent..when I said I want some solution, she says if you have money pay or dont pay if u dont have..this was shocking and clear that this is some body who is fakester...be aware..I am not sure what will they do with respect to scam...
I have received at least one call daily for the last week or so on my cell phone. I also think I might be getting the same call on my home phone. The first time, the speaker identified himself as being from Citimorgage but we got cut off. I called back and was immediately asked to enter my Social Security Number. Needless to say, I did not. The calls are usually quiet now, as if no one is there. I rent an apartment and have no accounts with CitiBank, so it cannot be real. I just want the calls to stop!
We've been getting phone calls from this number since last August. They keep calling for someone who previously had this phone number. I and my husband have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong number. One woman accused me of being a liar and called me a deadbeat for not paying my mortgage. I inherited my home from my Grandmother, I own it free and clear! I asked her to remove the number and not to call again. After I hung up they called back 5 times in an hour.
They've called twice today and a couple times last week. We don't have a mortgage with Citigroup. I answered one of their calls today before I checked the caller id out of natural reflex, when no one answered I immediately hung up. I wish my home phone had the ring-tone selection option. I would just silence them.
