It is Citimortgage - I returned the call - the 1st return call I got a busy signal. The 2nd return call I got an answer - They WILL as for the last 6 (six) digits of your ss# - which I provided. The purpose of the call was because they did not receive my mortgage payment by the due date - the 16th. they call on the 17th. As it turned out - my auto payment from my bank was due to reach them by the 15th - for some reason it was not acknowledged until the 22nd of the month - so my bank must not have sent it until the 15th and/or they took 5-7 days to acknowledge the payment was made. Once Citimortgage processed the payment - I stopped receiving the calls as I was receiving it every day - 2 or 3 times a day until - Citimortgage processed. Hope this helps.
Citi Mortgage, calling for someone not me. Yesterday the automated prompt led me to an option that said "If you think we dialed this number in error, press 2". So I did and figured that was that.
Got 2 more calls today. Answered the second one as the person they were looking for. They requested the last 4 of he SSN. I hit "9999" until it put me through to an operator.
Got through to Brian almost immediately, explained the problem. He said he'd remove my number from the listed account, very helpful and understanding. Problem solved. I hope.
These scum of the earth have been calling me 4+ times a day, every day, since December 18th. Today is February 4th. I have a full and accurate call log, thanks to the Vonage web site. Each and every one of these is being filed as a complaint on the donotcall.gov site, and that makes me feel so much happier right now.
I'm in the middle of avoiding foreclosure with Citimortgage. I started the ball rolling approximately 30 days ago. By avoiding the cost of Foreclosure, CitiMortgage has a vested interest in keeping me happy. Today, my 1st and only Mortgage Payment became 15 days late. I received 3 calls today from the automated call system. The call fails to allow for anything other then a payment option. Soooooo, I called CitiMortgage and they said the calls won't stop until I submit a cease and desist letter to them.
Angry as hell, I activated my call forward service (free with comcast) and now selectively forward Citimortgage's automated call number right back to the same number. The system will always receive a busy signal and put an end to my stress. If more then one number starts to call, I'll begin to forward the calls to their Customer Service Representative's. Problem solved !
This is an Auto-dialer phone # from Citimortgage. If you want your phone # removed from their Auto-dialer system you can fax a "cease and desist" to them at 866-675-5772. Include your account # and phone #.
I answered this call from "Citimortgage", and our mortgage is through them. It was a computerized message asking for either me or my husband. I responded by pressing '1" that it was me; however, when requested to provide the last four of my social security number, I disconnected and called Citimortgage at the number listed on correspondence. I spoke to a representative there who said that they have no record of anyone from Citimortgage trying to contact us. She said Citimortgage has received phone calls from people reporting these phone calls and it more or less is probably pfishing so I was right to not provide information. I remembered reading if you don't initiate the call, never provide personal information such as SS#, etc.
