I let it go to voicemail. I listened to the message The lady said I needed to verify more information for my youngest daughter. I called the number back got a busy signal. I then called the marketplace: The lady told me that it showed I submitted the info but there was still some inconsistencies. When I told her about the call she sad that it sounded fishy but with the inconsistencies on my account that she would escalate the situation in order to figure out what was going on just in case it was a real thing and I won't lose my coverage. Some one will call me back within 30 days. lol We will see if I get paperwork in the mail I know it is real.
Unknown female caller identifying herself as "Passion" with Health Care Market Place and warning that Medicare would be cut off if did not provide her personal information. Caller hung up after being asked her last name. THIS A SCAM!!!! Do not confirm any information or relinquish any information. When you call the phone number back it gives busy tone.
Whoever is providing this service seems to have callers unable to read from their script. If you say anything that it outside of their limited phrases, you will be told the information is not correct. Ask them to put it in writing
I received a call from 636-698-6320 yesterday afternoon. I answered saying the name of my company. The lady seemed confused and asked if this was a business. I said yes. She apologized and hung up.
A google search shows this is the # for the Health Insurance Marketplace. If you have ME on the phone and need to tell ME something, why did you hang up? Geesh.
