I let it go to voicemail. I listened to the message The lady said I needed to verify more information for my youngest daughter. I called the number back got a busy signal. I then called the marketplace: The lady told me that it showed I submitted the info but there was still some inconsistencies. When I told her about the call she sad that it sounded fishy but with the inconsistencies on my account that she would escalate the situation in order to figure out what was going on just in case it was a real thing and I won't lose my coverage. Some one will call me back within 30 days. lol We will see if I get paperwork in the mail I know it is real.
I talked to Vallery at healthcare market place and was told that there was a problem with my account. This is a legitimate phone call and I used their 800 number not the 636-698-6320 number to verify it.
The Serco firm mentioned in the news report above is certainly controversial in a political sense, but it seems to be an actual ACA/Obamacare contractor located in Wentzville, MO. It is hard to offer advice as to whether the phone calls reported in this thread are legitimate inquiries that you need to answer, in part because of this controversy.
However, if you were called by someone at this number, you may be able to get at least some further information from the Wentzville, MO police department, which is at:

You might ask them to provide a confirmed business telephone number to the Serco company named in the CBS News report because you are not sure the number that called you is legitimate and not "spoofed."
The woman left a message on my answering machine saying that additional information was needed to verify my source of income for my marketplace insurance. She said to do the following: (1) wait for the request for information to come in the mail, (2) call 1-800-318-2596 or (3) log on to my marketplace account and there would be a message for me. I waited a week, and nothing came in the mail and no message is on my account. I called the 1-800 number and was told that no one from Marketplace would call an insured! She was puzzled and said that it must have been a scam. My records show that they received the source of income information and it was being processed.
SCAM. THIS IS A LOCAL AREA CODE IN MISSOURI. THEY TRIED TO TELL ME MY APPLICATION WAS MISSING INFORMATION. I NEVER SENT AN APPLICATION. I HAVE HEALTH INS THROUGH MY EMPLOYER. SCAM!!!!!!!!
