I have received today 3 calls already in a 5 hr time span. Same message about a lawsuit; it is definitely a scam or hackers fishing. Do not answer or give information, report, report, report
I just received the cal at 4:55pm EST. tried to call back but it said my call could not go through at this time. It was a computer voice that called me.
called back several times finally someone picked up, after asking if his momma was proud of him trying to rip people off. Said he was going to rape and kill me. Nice .... Sorry piece of garbage. Said he was not from India, but from Pakistan. Said I didn't give a s$&@ where he was from, he was a piece of scum for trying to rip people off.
(646) 368-8608 robocall from NYC - stated the words from the IRS and lawsuit filed in the county courthouse. BS - scam. Also illegal. Feel free to file complaints and if I can I will pursue prosecution. This is an illegal solicitation with threat!
I received a call from this number today at 7:48 a.m. The call was picked up by my answering machine. The pre-recorded message was incomplete, so I never heard the "name" of the caller. I did hear the part about contacting my county courthouse immediately. I have probably received at least two hundred calls like this one from "unknown callers" or from some alleged government bureau threatening me with prison because I owe thousands to the IRS,etc. To date, no federal marshals have come to arrest me. Just a minute ago while I'm writing this complaint, a call came in from "toll free caller" at 866-315-9726. Why can't this be stopped?
