Same number called me several times this 2/1/2016 morning and afternoon so far. 646-368-8608
Says they are IRS and a lawsuit has been filed in our name and to call this number back before case is sent to local courthouse in my area.
No idea what this is and obviously is a SCAM ROBO CALLING THING!!!
Same message, tried to call back number recording said to try back later. Would love to get them on the line, I usually play along with them awhile till the figure I'm jacking with them. My little form of payback.
Received robo call with same message to call back regarding owed taxes and this going to county court today. I called back on my cell since I have an app installed to record calls. Let the guy run down his whole spiel and then pointed out the problems he now has. He stated if I wasn't a US citizen I would be deported, then stated that they decided to call because I was a good citizen who had never been in trouble with the law. I advised him that the call had been recorded and he would be the one facing legal issues, not me. At that point he started threatening to call my local police and have them at my home within 45 minutes. I calmly asked him to please contact the police that I'd happily wait for them. That's when he began cursing and threatening me. I've already called the irs and hopefully with this call recorded something can be done to stop them.
