Called our business and asked for the owner by his first name. Said his name was Adam calling about a personal matter. Our bad-a$$ assistant knows better then to put these calls through and offered to take a message. He left one stating he has an investment opportunity for him - that message was promptly filed under G for garbage.
I keep getting calls at work from an Anthony Galfredo from Laidlaw - 1-646-449-7100. He leaves a message, saying his direct number is 212-953-4907. I have not called either number back, as I've read too many posts about these guys.
Received a call from "Raphael Velasquez" asking for business owner. Stated he was calling from Laidlaw, also on Caller ID. I could hear him talking to someone before he greeted me, something about an RA. After I quizzed him on the matter he was calling about, he put his hand over the phone, and I could hear him asking what to do next. Then he hung up. DUMB. I guess even cold calling telemarketers have to have a training day.
