Calling on behalf of their "manager Martin", for I believe he was saying Profitable Conference Partners(?). It was hard to tell, it sounded like he had come back from the dentist.
I don't know if I should feel pity for these people or learn to despise them since they are so eager to talk over you, then raise their voices, and finally grow angry with you when they are advised their call cannot be transferred. I'm not certain why they believe we're lying to them when we simply cannot transfer to someone who passed a way years ago. In fact they did not know what the word deceased meant, what the phrase passed away meant, and eventually we had to resort to spelling out the word -d- e- a- d-, and I'm not certain that they got that reference either.

Five minutes later, call from Michael Taylor from Liz Keller’s office at Divergent. Only this time the phone number was a New Castle, Delaware number 302-356-2801. I asked him to place us on their Do Not Call list.

Yet another call from Brittany with Liz Keller’s office at Divurgent. This time from 804-596-1074. I asked Brittany to put us on their Do Not Call list. She said she would.

Another call from Liz Keller's office at Divurgent from Virginia telephone number 540-491-0242. I explained that I have received numerous calls from "Liz Keller's Office" and have asked, and still ask, that we be put on their Do Not Call list.

Another call from Liz Keller's office, this time from Brad Kingsley at Divurgent from 678-391-4177. I asked him why I have received calls from 5 other people from Liz Keller's office after I have asked to be placed on the Do Not Call list. He apologized and let me know he would make a note of it in his files.

Another call from Liz Keller's office, this time from Sandra Rogers, "assistant to Liz Keller," 646-568-6434. I explained that I have received numerous calls from "Liz Keller's Office" and have asked, and still ask, that we be put on their Do Not Call list.
something didn't sound right about this call from the get-go. the guy said his name was Joseph William, calling on behalf of Phil Joseph. when I asked about the company, he said TriNet (http://www.trinet.com/company/about/default.htm). the guy tried over and over to reach the CEO of my company; he wouldn't even speak completely to my HR supervisor.
Got a call from this number at the office today. The "assistant" said she wanted to put thru her boss, Jeff Griffin, to my executive. She knew his name, but when I told her she would have to give me more info., she said she would call back. When I told her she would always have to leave a message regardless, she was quick to hang up. She did tell me the company was ACCELETIS or something like that. Obviously a junk call.
Another repeat calling offender, at least three times a week for more than a month running.
This number shows up in callerID logs, day and night. Rings into voice mail, but NEVER leaves v-mail.
Possible SOCIAL ENGINEERING recon attack, from descriptions of conversations reported below.
Scout/attacker calls publicly listed number OR number from a business card in an attempt to have the INTERNALLY TRANSFERED within your organization's phone system to some one "higher up" in the organization. These scouting attacks ramp up after attending trade shows and conventions.
Caller asked to speak with Robert,
I said "this is him"
Then he said "am I speaking with Robert Johnson?"
I said Nope.
"I think I may have the wrong number."
I then hung up.
