Calling on behalf of their "manager Martin", for I believe he was saying Profitable Conference Partners(?). It was hard to tell, it sounded like he had come back from the dentist.
I don't know if I should feel pity for these people or learn to despise them since they are so eager to talk over you, then raise their voices, and finally grow angry with you when they are advised their call cannot be transferred. I'm not certain why they believe we're lying to them when we simply cannot transfer to someone who passed a way years ago. In fact they did not know what the word deceased meant, what the phrase passed away meant, and eventually we had to resort to spelling out the word -d- e- a- d-, and I'm not certain that they got that reference either.
a terrible boiler room caller, phone jockey does not take direction easily, he needs to grasp the english language better if were expected to hold a telephone conversation, I'm sure they will be calling back again shortly.. .
I get calls like this ALL day. I put them on HOLD look up the number if it comes up like this I just leave them on HOLD, it's a waste of their time and they usually hang up with in the 1st minute or 2. Sometimes I pick up the number and tell them I can not transfer due to the number you are calling from, I try to tell them to remove us from the call list but they usually have hung up by then.
I am blocking EVERY NUMBER from Divergent. I have repeatedly told them NEVER to call me again. I would NEVER be interested in a company that does business in such a scam way.
I have had 4 or 5 calls today from various numbers and area codes including this one, all with the correct first name but wrong last name.
They have claimed to be 1. an insurance company, or 2. a software firm. They had a heavy accent, and when i asked for the company name to be repeated the reply was "sorry I must have the wrong number. "
