Calling on behalf of their "manager Martin", for I believe he was saying Profitable Conference Partners(?). It was hard to tell, it sounded like he had come back from the dentist.
I don't know if I should feel pity for these people or learn to despise them since they are so eager to talk over you, then raise their voices, and finally grow angry with you when they are advised their call cannot be transferred. I'm not certain why they believe we're lying to them when we simply cannot transfer to someone who passed a way years ago. In fact they did not know what the word deceased meant, what the phrase passed away meant, and eventually we had to resort to spelling out the word -d- e- a- d-, and I'm not certain that they got that reference either.
Called our business asking for one of the bosses by name, asked what it was regarding and he said he didn't know, I made him spell the company name and he said it was called Accentric Inc.
I've been getting several calls over the past few months, but most of them will say they're calling from "the office of... BDNA" (forgot the name). They usually have a variety of area codes, but today, I got this call from (646) 568-6434. When I asked what is this call about before I'd transfer it to the person they want to talk to, they'd say "I'll call back later".
Phone number is 646-568-6434 - Benjamin calling from Peter Johnson's office wanting to speak with our IT manager. About 20 minutes earlier got a call from Esther from Peter Johnson's office also wanting to speak with IT manager. I asked Benjamin if he knew Esther since they were calling from same office - long silence and no he did not. Asked him what he wanted - to speak with the IT manager. Sorry slick - you have to go through me to get to my associates - I protect them from BS nonsense like this caller.
