Received a call from 928-238-3353 on my cell phone, which is local so I answered. It was a Credit Card Merchant and told them my business was not interested. They then proceeded to call back from this number, saying it was not a sales call. Again, not interested. They then called a third time and after declining blocked the number. Very pushy!!
Kept receiving calls to speak to the company owner regarding merchant account processing. I finally asked for his name, number and or email address so the owner could return his call. He said he did not have a direct line or email. When I asked him how he was able to call me without having a direct line, he hung up. Said his name is Mitch Guarna. Annoying and now very unprofessional.
Agent said he was calling about our credit card processing regarding fees. He did not identify himself, or really get to a point, but said he was from Secure Cost Review when I asked. I advised our needs are already being met and to not call again.
My Jolly Roger Telephone company landlubber service recognized this as a telemarketer and transferred the call to a bot. I used to get calls from a similar scammer asking to see about card processing, as if I had some sort of company that handles credit cards. I don't. Very annoying. Well worth having an automated scam detection service to answer these calls for me.
