Credit card service, I've ask them several times to stop calling. They wanted to verify all my info, name , company name, address and phone number before they remove me. I'm not confirming anything because that's how they get you. It's just useless to have a phone anymore, it's just for scammers. Do not call list is useless.
They called from New York City - we're in Los Angeles and have no business in NYC. We have had the 646 area code blocked for well over a year. Our phones did not ring.
UNKNOWN called our business again today. Asked for the owner by name, so the call was sent to me. Started in about merchant processing, so I said we are fine with our current provider and do not want to change. He stated he was not a credit card processor, but he worked with Visa & MC to lower our rates. That is an outright LIE! Visa & MC determine their rates and sent out rate sheets via your processor. Those are set in stone and some dude calling from an UNKNOWN number is NOT going to be able to get me a better rate! Told him to never call here again and he was still talking as I hung up.
