Similar to other reports...after I answered I could hear delay and background noise. Guy had my name and said it in such a way as to imply that we're old friends or something. When I asked who he was and what he wanted, he hung up.
Caller asked for my boss, when I asked for his name he said "Arthur". I pressed and he gave me the last name Price. He said my boss would know what it's about and that it's personal.
Have received multiple calls from this number over the past year. Answered a few. A fellow named Chris supposedly from Reed and Rutiger (sp? R+R). High pressure sales pitch to buy stocks (PPGO this time). I kept saying "no thank you." He eventually hung up. Don't bother answering unless you're the SEC.
They call and quietly listen to hear who answers the phone. If it's not who they wish to speak with, they hang up. They do this several times a day. Pure harassment. DO NOT ANSWER. BLOCK THEIR NUMBER
