Called my office asking for the gentleman that used to own our company that has been deceased for nearly a decade. When I went to tell them this, "Pat" hung up.
No caller ID since they called my cell. They leave no message. I do not call them back.
One poster gave the name of the firm which he believed to be "Reed and Rutiger". I googled the name and found a similar name that seems to match what we have seen here, Reid-and-Rudiger Capital Management (Investment Brokers) in New York City.
I found the following site written by employees of the firm:
He has called many times this week and so far today he has called 3 time. He always asks for the owner by name, when asked if someone else could help him, he hangs up. He will not leave a name.
Noelle Smith called for one of my bosses. I asked him what it would be regarding since that's my job. He said 'he will know why'. I asked for other information, and he was rude and would NOT give any info. I thought this person might know my boss, and calls are important if they are clients, so I decided to just transfer it to my bosses voice mail.
