Get calls from this number constantly... Sometimes even before 7am... They called today, Memorial Day, on a national holiday and I've had enough... Their caller ID says there from Mountview, CA.
No Greenwitch, the seven year clock does not restart with contact. It restarts with account activity. In other words, if you make a payment on the debt it will restart the time it takes to become legally uncollectable. Simply contacting a creditor does nothing to the statue of limitations.
Have received multiple calls from this "company" - whoever they are. Usually don't answer and they never leave any messages. Today I answered and they asked for somebody who I'd never heard of. Person on the other end of the line was extremely difficult to understand due to heavy accent. Told them they had called the wrong number. They said "we're sorry for the inconvenience" and hung up. Idiots called again two hours later. Same number came up on the caller ID. Will be calling my phone company to file complaint.
Have received 2 calls from this #. I don't answer because I don't recognize the #. They never leave a message, just continue to call. I will report them to the Attorney General of my state if this continues.
