So annoying! They start calling me at 7:30am and I get at least 6 calls during the day. I picked up once and it was dead silence. I'm loosing my patience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under the FDCPA you can stop these calls with a cease and desist letter (search for "Bud Hibbs" on the net). As they have US offices, you can also sue them and get money from them if they do not stop.
Don't take my word for it, search on "FDCPA consumer help explained how-to" and you will find many useful sites.
These guys called me at around 9 in the morning. Not the first time I got a call from a number with this area code, so I knew that they were just trying to harass me. When i picked up and said "hello?" all they did was hang up. I called them right back using *67 and told whoever picked up to suck on a d!ck. Probably not the most mature thing to do, but sure made me feel damn good.
They do not leave a message because they can not speak freakin english.. Listen to the people posting about the FDCPA and call your states attorney office and report them..
