Got a call at 8:54pm, missed the first two and picked up the third- no response so I hung up. Then they proceeded to call me 9 times in a row before I blocked the number.
Was on the other line when the call came in from this number so I ignored and did a Google search which brought me here. Of late I have been receiving many calls from scams/cold calls on local CA numbers. It may be coincidental but seems to have happened after I signed up for a VoIP/forwarding service with a HostedNumbers and another service like it. Has anyone else had this experience? Any thoughts on why the sudden uptick of calls from local numbers?
