Called and left vm saying, "there's a charge for me and to call immediately to resolve this matter since they haven't been able to reach me by phone..." this is the first time they call "...they will be forced to locate me at my place of work..." they can't cause I don't have a job, "...and residence, if they locate me I give up my right to voluntarily fix my problem." Sounds pretty threatening to me and very much like a scam.
Do not call these people back, it is a scam, they paid for your name and hundreds of others from some low life company, they are just trying to scare you into paying them. Contact your Attorney General of your state and file against them. I did and one company had to pay me back for harassment last year. The Federal government is cracking down on these scammers. Also, the IRS never, NEVER calls you to say you owe money, don't fall for that one either. The IRS sends out a letter to you if you owe. Okay??? Good, now go back to enjoying your week.
This caller has called me 2 times in the past 2 days now. They are electronic messages. They left messages about how they are going to pursue me at work since I didn't answer my phone and that they have 2 class action suits against me. They also have the wrong names, both times, of the people who live here. It seems a little threatening since there is nothing that could be a reason for any class action against me. I am disabled and do not work so they cannot go after me at my place of employment therefore they know nothing about me or what they are even talking about. I just feel I am being harassed at this point and somewhat threatened for no reason. These people need to be stopped.
Calling looking for someone other than me. I call it back and they want my case number or phone number. Ummmm NO you have the wrong phone quit calling me. RUDE woman says NO that's not going to happen. UM EXCUSE ME she hung up on me. I called back and they answered I said quit calling this number or I will file harrassment and she said don't threaten me and I hung up. This is a total scam they can go by his work or home I don't care.
