Also, if a HS Senior has shown interest in several schools, those schools WILL call you and they have a legit Caller ID. We have gone thru this all year. Scholarship winners will be notified by mail personally or to the Guidance Counselor at the high school. Like I said before...Scammers!!!
called about 5 times already and won't ever leave a message! Today i answered and stuck my phone out the window while driving on the expressway. Hopefully they get the clue that i don't want to talk to them.
Has been calling 1-2 times a day for a week. Will not leave message on answering machine, so we ignore. These are usually computer automated calls and will eventually stop if you don't answer. Annoying, but screening the calls works best for us.
If I don't recognize the caller ID I let the machine get it. If they don't leave a message I don't pick it up. EVER. It is not someone I want to waste time with, ie TELEMARKETER
What I did find out is that Area Code 660 is in Missouri (Marshall, Sedalia, Macon, Trenton, Maryville, Bethany and north central Missouri).
The exchange 747 is in or around Warrensburg, MO. (Johnson County, Zipcode 64093)
Rcv'd call from 660-747-0706, too. But no message was left. I called from my office and recording said, "no one is here to take your call....." no introduction, nothing. May a week and a half ago I decided to call my student loan people to set up that blessed payment plan, again. I wonder if this is what it's about?
I've been seeing this number on my caller ID for several days now. I never answer. They never leave a message. I have been applying for jobs and taking care of some outstanding items on my credit report that I had been unaware of. I'm hoping this number isn't related to some type of identity theft. I never answer, because the way I see it, if it's not important enough to leave a message about, it's not important enough to waste my calling the number back.
