Also, if a HS Senior has shown interest in several schools, those schools WILL call you and they have a legit Caller ID. We have gone thru this all year. Scholarship winners will be notified by mail personally or to the Guidance Counselor at the high school. Like I said before...Scammers!!!
It's Drexel University trying to contact you for something you signed up for. I received a call today and didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number but they left a voicemail and they were returning my call from yesterday. I'm getting info on their online classes.
Anyway, hope that helps with the "mystery" phone number.
ANOTHER VERY UPSET and disappointed potential student of Drexel University. About one week ago, I expressed via online a sincere interest in applying to Drexel's MBA program starting in 2010. Every day I receive a telephone call from this number - starting at Noon and continuing until 7 PM. I have never been so chased or harassed. I am dismayed and disappointed that Drexel would release my mobile number. Today's phone call - into voice mail - when I listened, Drexel's agent could not speak clearly for all the laughter in the background - not very professional - she then called back to make sure she had actually left a voice mail message. Gee, Drexel - wake up!
Definitely, turned off by Drexel University's online MBA program! Definitely, turned off!
my kid actuall;y took a minute to listn to this call. it was a person named amanda for Philidelphia Biblical University, she was extremely polite and was offering some sort of scholorship for the school. 10k a year! Got all the info from her, Called the school, it was all legit and now my son has a very good scholarship to a very good school.
Give them a chance, it may change your kids life!
