Yes, Student loan debt collectors. I owed them 819.00 but failed to pay so the college hands case over to a debt collection agency, now the balance is over 1000.00 due to late fees, etc. If you make a payment plan and make 9 consecutive payments (on time), the late fees are waived, and it drops back down to the original balance. My advice is to make some type of payment plan and start the process, because if you don't, they'll keep on calling until you give them some type of reply or you change your number.
