beligerent nasty collectors representing themselves as lawyers and paralegals and barely speak english, supposedly from Irvine, CA but most likely from Mumbai.
I keep getting calls like this for several months now, sometimes this firm, others all sound similar in that I can barely understand them. They do have a lot of my real information. But I never took out a payday loan. Even if you have my full name, social, address, my bank information and so on that in itself does NOT mean that you, your firm or any you represent gave me a deposit or wire transfer to my account. In fact one of the last times a firm like this called I had a coworker look at my bank acct online with me from the month in question and they too could see that I had not had any other deposits other than my automatic paycheck direct deposit.

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND REPORT THESE CRIMINALS. THE MORE REPORTS THAT ARE MADE THE FASTER AND MORE IMPORTANT THE CASE AND INVESTIGATION BECOMES.
They keep calling me and harassing me over an account that does not exist for American Payday.
Which i have never actually funded. I need to know what legal action I can take in order to finish and get these people to stop harrassing me.
I just got 35 calls from this # i am not even the person they are looking for... He (Jack Rodreguze) said vulgar things to me about my children and what he was going to do to them... I called the police and they called this "law firm" and he said that all the calls are recorded and he would never threaten anyone...
I am so upset...
