Are they or are they not ASPCA. Time will tell. What I do know is that after Hurricane Sandy I gave them a very small donation figuring feet on the ground could do better than outsiders. Next thing I know I'm getting mailing after mailing after mailing to "renew my membership." I never joined as a member, just wanted to make small donation for emergency. Then I start getting mail from all kinds of animal organizations. Then I start getting mail from all kinds of New York charities. I haven't been to New York in decades.
Between credit card fees and the monthly solicitations they have spent more chasing after me than the $ amount of my original donation. This is just plain bad fundraising. Whether or not the ASPCA is making these phone calls I am still disgusted by this behavior and will never donate to them again.
This number calls relentlessly. I donate in person or via mail. I don't give my credit card over the phone. IF they aren't a scam theyve lost a donation with me because the calls are boarding on harassing.
Wish I would have never given them a dollar. Now they're calling my house. / Until they stop protecting cats, I'll never donate again. What about the birds? I've redirected all my donations to the Audubon foundation. / ASPCA, stop calling me. Jeremy Hall - Colorado
