I checked with the public relations department of the ASPCA and discovered that this is NOT A SCAM. They do use a telemarketing firm in Palmdale for fundraising purposes. Still, if you do not wish to receive their calls, contact them and they will gladly remove you from their calling list. They are very responsive.

These people calling on behalf of the ASPCA represent a genuine nuisance. Any further contributions we make will be going to the local animal shelter or the humane society.
Glad I checked to see what this number was. While I DO support the ASPCA, I do NOT support constant cold calling and then not leaving any type of message. I have gotten calls every single day, sometimes twice per day, with no voicemail left. SHADY. I don't care if they ARE legit, THEY NEED TO BE PROFESSIONAL AND LEAVE A MESSAGE.
