call came in at 11:00 am informing me my MasterCard Debit Card was locked & to push 1 for security. I don't own one of these cards or have a bank account. Called it back after i hung up and said it was disconnected. To those out there who may get a call from this number don't answer it.
I got a call at 10:00 pm on a Sunday night. Didn't answer, and have since blocked the number. I feel for the people that happen to fall for this. People like this need to be shot!
Received call at 7am Saturday that I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. At least it wasn't middle of the night. Same story as everyone else, calling back get the disconnected message, which I don't believe is a real phone company message, but instead is their recorded message.
Called me at 7:50am saying my Direct Express card had been locked. I have a Direct Express account so I instantly grabbed my wallet. Asked for card number and I got suspicious. First they never asked for me by name. Second my cell number is not attached to that account. And third it was automated. Hung up and called number back and it said disconnected. Clearly a scam that damn near claimed a new victim
