Brent Stamp's office has gone too far this time. They actually had a Sheriff serve me for a balance that I have never owed. They claimed I owed Northside Forsyth Hospital over $1,200. I immediately upon being served contact Northside, for I knew I didn't owe them anything. They stated I did not have a balance with them, yet this guy claims to be representing them. They are now investigating him and his office. They feel we have all been victims of collections scams. They purchase reports which show what people owe or have owed in the past, then try and collect using harassing phone calls and now he has gone so far as to serve me a summons. I am furious and I will see to it that he pays for this.
CL Burrell called and was not willing to set up any type of payment plan. I asked to speak to supervisor and was given the name Eric Jones, who I could never seem to get intouch with. Now we are recieving calls from Maxie, who calls my husbands number. My husband gives the number to me and when I call a machine comes on and says "You have reached the law offfices of Brent Stamps and a representative will be on the line shortly" never to appear on the line. It seems to me to be a scam because they only want to talk to you when they want too!!!
These people are utter idiots. I only imagine that they have excessive turnover, but there is no shortage of idiots. The keep calling my new phone for a Franchesca or a Emma. I called them back from several different phone numbers just to annoy them on my break and boy was it fun. They do not give you any information, all basic bill collectors will at least make up a name if they don't want to give it to you. I recommend that everyone just call back and ask for their personal name and extension. Have fun with them.
