Received a call this evening at 11:05 pm..... Told this woman with an Indian accent off for calling so late and informed her this was the 5th call I received from area code 701 today claiming to be with Microsoft Windows Technical Department and told her to stop calling here as there is nothing wrong with my computer and she hung up without saying anything further.
Saturday, may 7, at 9:00 am, I received this call. Caller ID displayed the same name, arndoff. I think if you block a call and it still gets through, then the id number you see is not where the call is being dialed. This is frustrating because the criminals have found a way to get around blocked lists. I do not answer my phone if I do not recognize the number and unfortunately this is not a true predictor of who is calling. I received a call from myself. I did not answer. Lol. It is truly annoying but it seems there is nothing we can do at this time but not allow these calls to cause us more stress.
