Just got a call from the number (703)009-0001 at about 10:45am. I didn't answer and they left no voicemail. I am also a 919 number. I also got a call last week from the number (514)001-1000, I didn't answer and they left no voicemail. I read online that one is also a scam (obviously because that number looks super weird). I read some people said don't even answer because they may be able to get info through your phone? Not sure if that's true, but I just ignore any weird numbers every time especially after reading how rude and nasty these people are!!
this # Called my girl, recording press 9 to lower your interest rate on CC. She pressed 9 and what sounded like a woman with an accent said she could help lower her rates on her CC , asked which one? she read a list of cards off, so asked what company is this , she was told experian. girlfriend says her voice slowly changed into a male India accent as he tried to convince her this was legit. She told him to just mail her the info and she would look it over. The voice exploded into an American sounding male that yelled " [***] you [***] I'm not sending you no information" and hung up. This is some freaky weirdo scamming.
Scammer a**holes from Card Services, they just want to steal your identity. I'm surprised at the number of people that still must fall for this stuff for them to keep calling so relentlessly over a period of days. It will stop for a while, then start back up again. I've had multiple calls from different numbers, too many to get them all blocked on my phone service. Do yourself a favor, get yourself a nice loud horn to blow into the phone next time they call, maybe they won't be so quick to call back!
They are on to 910 numbers now! As long as there are suckers, these cats will keep calling. Thankful to other concerned people like the folks here who take the time to post. It has saved me numerous times from calling scammers back! Kudos to all the people....
Received a call from this number on two different cell numbers in our home. I didn't answer either time. Because of the prevalence of scams we don't answer if we don't know the number. Anyone legitimate will leave a message. Don't answer out of curiosity. In my experience if I ignore the calls, they will stop calling.
