I had thought that maybe in the aftermath of the Tucson shooting Saturday, they might not have the nerve to continue soliciting support their misguided missive - that they'd at least take a respectful break from the relentless pursuit of such absurdity.
I have unknown name on my caller id and the person who is on the other end refuses to identify himself and refuses to leave a message for my husband who is the person they are calling for. I said they either leave a message with me or stop calling as he will never answer the phone himself and will not talk to people he does not know. The person said he would make a note of it, but this is the 4th time I have gotten this call in 2 weeks and previous person said similar.
we were also getting an unbelievable amount of these calls. Calling the 703 number and trying to remove ourselves from the list that way didn't work.. the recording kept asking me to enter the number I wanted removed, but never accepted the number I entered..
So I called the 1800 number posted and they were able to remove me... so that's for posting that info.
If anyone wants to remove themselves, I just suggest calling the 1800-672-3888 number and asking to speak to member services, they are the department that will remove your number!
