Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
These clowns called me, dude said he was from the IRS. I believed him and mailed him a check for the $10,000.00 he demanded.I recommend everyone else do the same or you will be arrested.
I received two messages (identical) on my answering machine---the messages stated "this is an automated message from the Internal Revenue Service", and instructed either me or my attorney to call back immediately at that number.... the message did go on to state "If I don't hear from your or your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you" (good grief!)
I blocked the number, and also reported it to this site:
