This caller has Indian accent. He introduced himself as Sam but he did say who he wanted to talk to. Usually, when you call someone, you call his/her name before or after you introduce yourself, but he didn't. That means he doesn't know who I am, he said he call about my application and I could hardly understood him because of his accent. I said I didn't apply anything and he got the wrong number. He kept going on but I cut him off ....
Caller had an Indian accent. He kept saying I won a vacation package from American Airline. (He did not identify himself and who he represented.) I asked do I need to fork out any money to collect the package. He claimed no but I need to talk to his manager. I told him if I legitimately won anything, they can snail mail me the package or e-mail me the package. If I had entered the sweepstakes myself, I'm sure they would have all the information already. My phone has static connection & would not be good for solicitation calls.
An Indian woman asked if I remembered filling out an application for King's Creek Plantation last Christmas. When I told her that I never would have done so and that I was on the National Do Not Call register, she hung us. I looked it up and it is a timeshare in Williamsburg VA.
Called my cell phone at 8 in the morning claiming I won something from a contest I'd entered, which was an out and out lie. When I told him it was a lie and to take me off of his list, he lied to me, again, about how I'd filled out some contest form. e Haven't even lived in the country that long, I think I'd remember that.
